Having a multifaceted job within the staff allowed me to learn in many different perspectives how to learn and develop the game. Having the opportunity to recieve extensive video training allows me to be more efficient as I evolve into the coaching position as well as personalize my style of film study. Film is a pivotal part of the process. Incorporating this piece into my skillset is something I am proud of and happy to bring to the table as my journey continues.

Being able to learn under a Big 12 program in Iowa State has provided me with a unique lens on recruiting. The game is shifting. The younger generation of children are consumed by social media and instant access. Being recently removed from the collegiate setting, being able to provide my insight as benefitted the staff in our current recruiting process. Instant gratifcation is hard to consistently maintatin, but with a schedule and maintaining an intriguing social presence, it benefits not only the recruiting process, but the community that supports the university and program. One of my strengths is giving the outside world a glimpse of how ISU women's basketball is as a program and what makes the engine run successfully.
